Cancel your orders - they will learn the lesson the hard way
Hi all,
Just for the new ones on this forum : I am located in France, and here like every where in Europe, Mazda is so bad performing in terms of communication and delivery that we have to react.
I ordered my car in OCTOBER 2002 - yes, not mistake here. Promised in June, NEVER been contacted in between, then received a book to announce starting September.
We are the 26th of September. Do you believe that they STILL have not called me to say "sorry, late, we will do that to thanks your patience, next date is ..." ... NOTHING AT ALL.
SO, I suggest the following : let's have us ALL to call Mazda and tell them we CANCEL. And do it.
Not a big deal, if you want to buy one, what's 6 months more to wait (if after the release you want one, you will have one day or another ...
BUT in the meantime, you will have send a clear message to every representative of Mazda (Europe and Headquarters) : WE ARE NOT ******* COWS WE ORDERED YOUR MOST EXPENSIVE PRODUCT !!!!
I bet that only the press releases relating this incident will have some consequences even in their orgchart ...
(sigh) I wake up. It was just a dream. In real world, this cannot happen. We will accept to be treated like **** and even pay for that. Well , perhaps not me

I am one of the cows as well. I just asked for a reaction.
And honestly, cancelling our orders will certainly have an impact on the future, and for those that consider this car as their ultimate dream/toy/whim, then I am off discussion.
Passion is useful when it comes to credulity.
But hey, never mind, please forget I tried to put some rationalism here

I think people are missing the point of this thread a bit.
Stephan is in France, and there they have had even less communication from Mazda that us. From similar threads it looks like Mazda Europe really doesn't have its act together.
But beacuse this thread is heading in the wrong direction I'll have to close it.
