Call from Mazda UK today

Got a call from Mazda today to confirm my details. The lady was surprised I hadn't had my welcome pack which she said would contain a logon to the site to track my order. Delivery date quoted was July. However I think this was the standard answer. I think the lady was just some call centre person reading from a script.

Anyway good to have them call me rather than me chase them!

If you're wondering I placed my order and handed over my deposit with the dealer in Jan.

Welcome to the forum and the RX8 club.

We've all been waiting. Pack is nothing special, mine arrived on Saturday!

What have you ordered colour etc?

Cheers

Thanks Oilman.

Car on order is: Titanium, sunroof, leather and all the horses.

It does seem this is the most common combination!

Dont taunt the oilman ! He is subconsciously having a crisis about having not ordered the titanium and is quite sensative about it.

He may violently protest this - but we all know the truth.
It is a forum thing not to mention it to him , shhhhhhh !

Thanks Mark for the pic! Not seen that one, any more?:D

Morgan, no problems! They'll see me coming in my RARE red RX8, Titanium will be common as a silver Audi TT!:p

Jimbobjoe, they'll have to be blind to see the Oilman coming!

Cheers

Never seen a silver Audi-TT. They're all red around here.

Oilman,

These were on one of the Geneva threads, you must have missed them.

I love the colour of the car in these pics, although I think you said you prefer it a bit darker. With the mica paint, the colour obviously changes depending on the light conditions.

Enjoy

Thanks MarkW, some of these should keep me going for a day or two.

My collection now runs to around 240 pics strong!

I just love the depth of colour and sheen in those pics. If my RX8 turns out anything like the colour in those pics I shall be happy as a pig in sh*t!

The **** have made a big mistake!! (sorry Morg old pal!)

Cheers
Oilman

PS. Have you seen this pic Mark?

Yep, seen that one Ive probably got that many myself :D

I like the shots from above on those pics, as I havent seen many from that angle before.

IMHO the car looks better without the sunroof to spoil the lines of the roof.

Here's one for the **** as well so they dont feel left out.......

I don't understand how anyone can go for such a boring, middle of road, non confrontational, look at me I'm fifty titanium or silver in this car.

Red says I am get-up-and-go,lively,vivacious and cool.

Statistically red cars are more likely to be involved in an accident hence insurance premiums being higher.

Nah too many silvers cars on the road for me at the moment and lets face it Red is the ultimate in Sports car colour.

Testarossa?

Good! I wouldn't want anyone with your lack of style and class driving one.
