Bad news

1) Opec have reduced their oil quota
2) UK govt needs to raise revenue

= higher petrol cost very soon (and the increase could be quite large).

Opec ALWAYs say there gona reduce oil production, have done every meeting for the last few years.

Then russia etc drag more of it out of the ground and opec give in, they'd rather sell oil at whatever the market price is than watch someone else sell it.

As for the govenrment, sure theyre gona raise taxes (again), and get lots of .gov employees sacked to cut costs(lol, redundancy will be higher than any cost savings), then they'll get voted out, not like the countryis loving them right at the moment is it?

barrel prices have been pretty stable this year apart from March and all OPEC are doing is keeping it in the 22-27$ pb range.

We can expect higher prices anyway as most retailers are not making enough margin at present. You may see 2ppl this winter added but probably not much more unless the barrel price soars due to world events.

Cheers
