Anyone got a spare car for a month??!?!
Ok,
I got an offer for the TT I couldnt refuse.
The car goes on the first weekend in October. This leaves me car-less. Now I am pushing Mazda UK, but getting nowhere fast. My dealer cant hire me anything, but may offer to sell me something.
Anyone else know of any good places to hire - Easycar was looking at about 400 a month.. The irritating thing is not knowing the exact delivery date....

Why not ask your dealer to sell you something with a guaranteed PX price ?
i.e Dealer sells you anything-he-has at a set price and agrees to allow you to PX against the RX8 at an pre-agreed loss ? (Say £100 for every 1000 miles or something?)

Ed - you aren't the only one here - mine goes on sale next week and (hopefully) will go soon. This is going to be more of a problem for pre-order customers the longer this drags on, - dealers are offering peanuts part ex.

Private. Mazda offered 19 (**** takers) Buyer for west london went 20-21 depending on seeing it. Private guy has given me 21k, which I think is a good deal all round - it really is in top condition.

buy a local paper and buy somthing with a few months tax and test for a couple of hundred quid. If you know what you are looking for and aren't too fussy about what you buy its an easy task.

I'm in a similar situation. I need to sell me M3 in time for the Rx-8 arriving. Not sure of trade-in values yet but I'm not expecting much. Might just break even on it.
The worry is if I advertise too early I'll have no car for a while if it gets sold quickly AND if I don't advertise early I might not get it sold in time.
AAAAHHHH!H!!!!!

Same here.
I am going to advertise mine next week for a good price and see how it goes...
If she does go , I will have to rent / beg / borrow something for a few weeks. Cannot afford to still have her when RX arrives though , that is for sure... !
