I thought I would wait for the dealer to call me with a delivery date but on Saturday couldn't wait for them to make the first move any longer.
I was told my car had arrived at dealer on Friday and I could pick it up Wednesday!!!
I said it would be nice if I could have a test drive before parting with the loot!!
So today I got to drive a high power red!!
I arrived early and there in the showroom was a black beauty!!!!
OH MY GOD DID I MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE OF COLOUR OR WHAT!
The black one just looked out of this world, there were so many people around it. At first I thought it was mine and I was ready for a showdown but as I approached it had Leather and I simmered down.
The drive was not as expected. The handling of this car is sensational and the bloke from the dealer drove it properly!!!It just sticks to the road and even when the backend stepped out once the DSC brought everything back in line without feeling obtrusive.
The performance was different - not as quick as I thought it would be (ie as has already been said no turbo shove) but geniunely deceptive.Will just take some getting used to I was nearly always changing up too early.
Booted it in 2nd and looked down at speedo doing 59mph and the back of the car in front approaching fast.
Tried out the ABS and it felt great not much peddle judder at all.

Got to say this car attracts people like bees to the honey pot, it is drop dead gorgeous in the flesh!!

Still have a huge smile on my face!!!
Got to say worth the wait!!

Ricm56, I test drove yesterday and enjoyed the looks the car got. I now know why porche/ferrari drivers often drive their cars so slow...lap it up...nice colour choice...2nd best is nothing to be sniffed at...
