Towing coverage...which one?!?! What ya think?

I'm upgrading my towing plan from POS to real coverage. Tired of paying more for towing than what a yearly plan would cost.

Here are the two that I think are the way to go (leaning toward Can. Tire plan).

1. Can Tire Roadside assistance

This is coverage for the car. Transferable to a winter beater.

2. CAA

Coverage for the person.

Vote and let me know what you guys think....thx!

Cheers!

Do you have a VISA with CIBC? Or maybe other banks too. I have Roadside Assist with CIBC Visa and it's like CAA but I believe you get more service calls per year. It costs me I think $9 a month.

CIBC - Make up to 8 calls per year for Emergency Roadside Services including:

However....To the nearest repair facility (within 250 km of the breakdown).
I only take my car one place so that could be a BIG problem.

I've had my car towed "home" rather than a "Repair Facility" with CIBC with no issues. They just don't want to tow you home and then then next day tow you to a shop.

At the end of the day, the tow truck driver really doesn't care where they drop it off and the people from CIBC Roadside just want to be re-assured that it will be fixed at the location where they drop it off.

Have no complaints at all with them.

Ya even tho everyone voted CAA, I went with Can tire Gold lol. My last tow home from Mostport would have covered it and then some. So now covered pretty well all tracks around here to Scarb Mazda so all good to go

I got CAA. Helped my Dumbass out when I locked my cars in the trunk in Windsor on Saturday.

I have the plus with extra towing.

Owning a RX-8 with no Towing Coverage is like plying Russian Roulette
