Swtch Blade key

Want to get a switch blade key for my 8.

Best place to pick one up or order it online? Anyone else interested? Perhaps we can get a combined order going on this?

I wouldn't mind having one as a spare so I always have two sets.
Interested.

Seems like they go for 40 to 50 bucks. Haven't done a lot of searching on it yet...

The only thing you'll need the dealer for is the cutting of the key. Or if you can find somewhere else where they can do this, then you're laughing.
Programming the key and the fob isn't hard. You just have to know the programming procedure.

I tried to upgrade to a switch blade key for my 04 Mazda6. Unfortunately, they couldn't get the fob to program properly. Apparently the transmitters are different between 04's all the way up to 06's. They cut the key properly, they programmed the key to turn on the car properly, but when it came to program the remote functions, it wouldn't take.
Got stuck with the separate key and fob scenario.

Make certain your vehicle year can take the switch blade key. Wouldn't want to throw away money for the hell of it.

from what i remember correctly, you need 2 keys and at least 1 remote to program another key.

read the instructions from this pdfs in the first post:
