Sneek peak: Renesis porting

Teaser picture of the porting I'm doing to Modified Mag's Project RX-8.

Keep following Modified Mag for the on-going engine build progress!

Is this a continuation of the last time you were in that mag, Joe?
Good work nontheless.

We'll be talking when my RX8 motor is in need of the inevitable refresh.
Hopefully I'll have all the bills from the RX7 paid off by then.. lucky for you I have no kids to send to college...

Yes, the engine build portion of Project RX-8 is a multi issue endeavour, each stage of the engine build is being documented and put into the mag as we go. It should be finished and running by the new year. Not too sure how many issues the engine build will cover...probably 4 or 5.

We shall see if its good for the motor lol. Keep checking the mag to see how much power we end up making over the 170whp it made after the exhaust modifications.

Generally though, porting will help the engine breath a bit easier and make more powa! Depending on driving styles, it could even improve fuel milage. The engine doesn't have to work as hard to cruise on the Hwy when the intake/exhaust ports flow better.

There is no "guys" anymore. RPM Motorsports the business is no longer. Hasn't been for quite some time now.

I have a small shop that I rent to work on projects in my spare time. Project RX-8 for Modified Mag happens to be one of them.

But please do keep me in mind if your looking for engine porting/rebuilds, I love doing it and it seems I have built a good reputation building/porting engines.
