wow, so in the morning it said that it was going to be 80% for scattered showers in the morning and thunder showers in the afternoon...now it says 30% for scattered showers in the morning and cloudy periods in the afternoon...what's next? sunny in the morning and sunny in the afternoon? =D *keeping fingers crossed*

Are helmets mandatory or just recommended?

i have helmets now except for my first time on the track i want ideal conditions. i have seen mosport in the fall and the leaves ...wet spots. mud on the runoff.....**** i will have enough trouble figuring out the track without knowing that if i go offline by 3 inches my car is gonna be in the "parts for sale" section hahahaha

since alan opened up the discussion to other track days ill post this.
www.touge.ca is having an event on the 24th that's 80 bucks full track mid day i've tracked with these guys a few times its fun and safe.

Nate and I aren't going...even if it stops raining by 10, track won't be dry enough for R1s by 11:30 12, so gonna shoot for the next one. Stupid fall season 
Now that I'm not going it will dry and nice and sunny for you boys. GL and have fun!

Sorry all you guy missed it, only 12-14 cars showed up lots of track time. Had a great time almost no rain, almost perfect conditions, a little wet around 9..dry the rest of the day. Nigel thanks for all your help, me being a newbie to the whole track thing. Only 8 there, Porsche GT 3, Lotus Exige, a nice S2000 turboed to mention a few. 2hit6 thanks.
Will go again in the spring for sure, after track school!
