I had a civic spin out in front of my TWICE at MOSPORT DDT today! Once directly in front of me and the other time he was going so slow, he blocked a line of 5 cars, and then spun out. I was 3 cars behind him that time, and he almost crashed into the other two cars in front of me!

 

Maffu, does your Agency Power lightweight pulley really do anything?

 

With temperatures close to freezing tires have very little adhesion, this **** will happen this time of year. You would not get me on a track this time of year, well maybe with a good set of performance winter tires. IMHO

The lightweight pulley makes the revs drop faster so it allows for faster shifts, not by a huge margin though..

as for the temperatures at DDT yesterday, it wasn't all that cold. A little breeze but i think it was around 16 degrees? that's what i remember the in-car thermometer said. I was on with all-seasons crap tires...and the traction wasn't all too bad (on some higher speed corners my car would jsut slowly slide off from the line on all 4 wheels)..but then again I wouldn't know anything about good traction since Ive never went tracking with anything close to decent tires

 

This morning on the 404 south VR or Copper(really dirty) just before 8 am, believe he got off at Elgin Mills. I was in the fast lane, him in 2nd. Don't know if he saw me?

 

3:15PM - Saw a white RX8 w/ spoiler parked in the green P lot on the South East corner of Adelaide & Spadina

7:30PM - Saw another white RX8 w/ spoiler (this one looked like a 2009 model - similar to the one I saw in the Prima Mazda show room in the summer) which was parked in front of the Tait McKenzie building at York U

 

4-5pm on Thanksgiving Monday: White with tints and Ontario plates parked in the lot right by the skyway at Somerset Mall in Troy MI. I parked my BB two spots over from you and saw you leaving as I crossed over the pedestrian bridge.

 

VR whose owner works at one of the TD towers in markham (steeles & esna park). saw you parked there this morning.

 

Saw a silver RX8 parker outside of Croc Rock in Mississauga around 10:45PM on Saturday night......you had a vanity plate

Later around 1:30am on hwy 401 drove by a grey RX8 heading east....after i passed you, i slowed down to 105km/h.....so you could catch up...maintained that speed for a 1/4 mile stretch but i guess you were doing 95 km/h or so.....i took the 427 north ramp and i noticed you took the 427 south ramp

 

Saw 4 Rx8...and I forgot their locations lol.

one silver in downtown from spadina south to QEW west at 6am or 6pm...

one grey outside of the Scarboro Mazda dealership (Rev back from Aussi yay)

one black inside the dealership black with black / red lip rim...

then one VR red along birchmont south bound from steeles...I flash you but no responses...

Today 4-6 brand new 8's on the 404 north just before 8:00 am in auto transport carrier. Did not have time to get a good count but more than I see in a month.

 

saw the prettiest girl with a smile tyhat never ended//in a grey 8 outside bingo country in brampton.,..wow

Saw a VR in Markham pulling out of an industrial complex along Denison near Woodbine. Had a mazdaspeed sticker on the trunk and some nice after market rims. I was in my winter car parked along next to you. Traffic moved so I just continued on ... wishing I was in my 8!

 

Noticed a Silver 8 at the Home Depot (Sunrise Center) Kitchener... nice kit...appeared to be an 04 or 05
I was in my Silver Tribute Parked 2 spots down.

 

Saw a blue 8 at Pizza Pizza tonight in Whitby on Brock st. north (maybe around 7pm), anyone here? Paquin? Makes me miss my 8 already ... sniff sniff!

 

saw a blue rx8 on tomken on saturday around 10ish. I blew by you, but not in my 8, i was in my beeter

 

saw a black 8 with really nice black rims on hwy 10 and burnhamthrope at like 8:45 pm

 

no one ever sees me anymore =( LOL and i don't ever see any of you guys! all the 8s i ever see are people who probably don't realize how special the rotary/rx series are!! i cruise right beside them and they don't even take a second look nor do they even seem to realize that I'M DRIVING THE SAME CAR THEY ARE!!!

 

I think I saw a girl driving your car out side of promise last sunday...maybe its just me hallucinating lol

 

it was probably someone else, i haven't been around that area in quite a while and i'm the only one to ever drive it...and occasionally my brother

it's so frustrating to see so many 8s pass by and not even wave back or anything >=[ I've driven right beside a few Shinkas and i wave at them...and they just ignore...probably thinking that i'm not waving at them >.>

Just out of curiosity, how many of you guys are driving your 8s in the winter again (i know this is a bit off topic)?
