I think he/she goes to UofT...seen him/her a few times parked in the parking garage. but he/she's not on the forum probably. That being said i'm surprised to find that the only 370z we have is lady-driven and it's manual!
I was stuck behind a slow guy a few days ago (before the snow) and a black 8 with tinted windows blew by in the left lane just off the Yellowhead by the refineries.

I ALWAYS see a Blue one in the Kitchener Best Buy parking lot, so they obviously work there. Anyone from here?

At least now I know there is another 8 driver which works for UHN...

Followed a VR 04? From Tilbilli to manning rd. in my Delivery Truck
small rims/winter tires, dark tinted windows, spoiler, REVN R8 plate
It was nice to see the 8 from a high seat on the highway.
Awesome Colour.

and did i mention there were two corollas parked beside us when i came out? *sigh* footman's a corolla magnet! maybe i shouldn't have parked next to him, at least the corollas were centered in their spot and not completely over the line onto our parking space.
btw footman, your car is still shine as always! where do you wash it? 'cause every time i try washing it (not the automatic car washes) the water freezes before i can wipe it off, and then i decided to give up on hand washing it and went back to automatic car washes *sigh*

you have to wash the car in sections if you're doing the coin wash thing in the winter to get the water off before it freezes. Costs a lot more money... but it still going to give you better results then the automatic car washes which seem to do jackshit.

******* corollas... sigh.. it's a losing battle!!! but I'm glad my fellow 8 drivers spot me and park next to me to shield from them *******...
I keep telling people.. the best automatic carwash to use is the Sunoco Eco Brilliant at Yonge/7. All Sunoco car washes use double soap treatment where as everybody else does only a single coat.
I bought the eco brilliant wash card which gives you 10 top of the line washes for the price of 7. The key is to keep microfibre cloth in your trunk. That particular wash bay has a 75 second dry cycle. Most people do not use the full 75 seconds, but you should. Time yourself... 25 seconds for the front of the car... 25 seconds for the mid section of the car (stay longer when the vents start drying the side mirrors area), then the last 25 seconds for the rear of the car. You will hear the sound of air buffetting as it hits the rear deck/spoiler, and just as you move ahead and don't hear it anymore, leave it there for 10 more seconds because that is the rear bumper. A lot of water is trapped there.
Upon exit, quickly dry with microfibre. I did this yesterday when it was -10 C outside with no problem. Then because Hwy 7 is relatively clear/open (3 lanes), take a blast in either direction at 80 - 90 kph for a km or so and everything will fly off.
If you follow all that I have said there, your car will look just like mine as you saw yesterday.
Trust me boys...

I went to that one once, but after the car wash, when I wiped the remaining droplets off the car with a clean microfibre cloth after fully utilizing the drying time, i ended up with a very very dirty (almost black) cloth. And when the car was in the sunlight, i could see the 'cleaner' areas that the cloth went over and the 'dirtier' areas that weren't wiped yet.
So now I use the petro canada season's pass for car washes, and I alternate between all the family cars and the 8. Only use it on the 8 when it's very very dirty, usually just stick with a quick hand wash at home or at the valleymede shell.
Another thing, how easy does the wax on the car come off? If I go to the self-serve car wash at valleymede and i blast the car with the water, will the wax come off? and will i need to put on another layer of wax afterwards? Right now I have about 3-4 layers of Meguiar's Car Wax on it and the Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer on it as well, should I re-apply it to the car after every few car washes or will it be fine?

Matthew,
You have the same amount of wax as I do on my car. You don't need to re-wax from water sprays. Of course over time, everything will come off from water blasts, that is why you need to re-do your car with the spring detailing.
You are fine now as it is.. just light cleaning, and a little dirt on the car now won't harm the paint. It'll last till spring.

Just saw Kafka at Hwy 7 and Warden an hour or two ago, stopped for a short chat at the traffic light xD nice to see a few more 8s are out here even during the winter! although yes it is bad for the car ><
today was a sweet day to wash the car; roads weren't all that wet. got my mechanic to let me use his service bay to wash down the 8 =D !
haven't seen any 8's cruisin around here lately =\
