Brilliant Black going eastbound on the QEW between Erin Mills and the 427 around 7:15 this morning.

Same as above, tried to wave, pulled up beside you, but couldn't go AS SLOW (95kph in the slow lane) as you were driving.......

I think i saw 2 corollas pass this guy!

Anyways, cheers to not waving at a fellow 8 driver... he kept looking straight ahead like i was the boogie man or something!

whats up with these 8 drivers lately.... First, they dont wave back 'cuz they are simply not aware of their surroundings, and now driving sooo slow in the fast lane and letting vans pass you from the right to come in front ... it actually hurts!!

 

I'm the invisible RX-8. No one every sees me on the road. Well that will change in about two weeks, I'll be hard to miss.

 

With the amount I drive, I'm amazed that you guys don't spot me. It's always the non 8 club people that I see.

 

I bought the rx8-club sticker from Polak.. just never got around to installing it. Will put on soon.. so everyone knows that the club exists and has a member!!!

 

Saw a brillant black yesterday turning west on major mack from frank endean, old dude driving it. I dont bother to wave anymore, unless....I see clear corners, it seems i get waves back from 8 owners with clear corners on.

 

yea me too...I go all around the GTA too. Markham, Downtown, Missisauga...I even go to Cambridge and Kitchener

spotted a copper red rx8 with "rx8" as the third brake light, aftermarket exhaust, strakes and im prettty sure standard. haha you wouldn't have recognized me because i was in my F350 work truck, this was at 5:30 roughly between mississauga rd. and Hurontario on the QEW Westbound.

 

spotted a sunlight silver 8 with what looked like a full veilside kit on it on wellington (hwy 24) and fife road in guelph today at about 5:10pm. also spotted you last week at guelph city mazda browsing, i think it was on saturday if i recall correctly.

 

Spotted a Copper Red rx8 in someones driveway in Oakville today.... oh wait it's mine!!! lol

I bought one and put in on my SS 8 so that I can proudly show the brand! And it worked!! When I had my house fire a week ago ... several firemen stood around my car pointing and discussing the club decal. I guess I did my part for the club!! If I had some extra decals that day I could have stuck some on the back of the fire truck!!!

Whats a good place to put the rx8-club decal?
I am planning on getting tints soon.. should I first wait to get tints and then install the decal?

Apparently, installing this decal has become a daunting task for me...

 

Yeah! Everyone is fine ... just a mattress fire and a lot of smoke damage. So it could have been worse ... just to ensure matters never do get any worse ... I park my 8 at the END of the driveway so my wifes car will get it first.

Seriously ... my insurance company has been amazing and everything is getting set straight!

 

Well, I am getting a bullrun competitor decal kit as I am taking the green flag at the starting line for Bullrun in Manhatton in two weeks (not actually running the rally as it is $20 000 to enter).

To make it a 'business trip' I am also putting some autotrader.ca sponsor decals on the car.

Then finally, since they have helped so many of us out in the RX-8 community, I am putting a few Scarboro Mazda decals on it.

There will be blogs and tons of photos about the event on Autotrader throughout July as well as details on the sweet *** supercars I'll be hanging around.
