Wow! Those are really well done ... and very quick too. One thing to consider is that many of us have tinted windows and the black lettering may be lost. Particularly with the lines behind the club wording. Would need something light for tints.

 

totally agreed! the final cut would most likely be reverse cut, on white vinyl, so you can stick it inside the window, and it will still look the way it should....

i was also thinking about some kind of colour fade, or 2-tone.... needs a touch of class.

in the meantime i printed one last night on my lazerjet, taped it in place just to take a look, and daaaamn... it looks good..

i'm legal limit in the front, and a little darker in the back.... ( i think thats about 30% ) i'll put a pic up later for debate.

 

im making them small enough to be subtle, and big enough to read.

personally i'm going to put one on the inside of my pop out windows, so unless you're already drooling over the car, you won't even see it....

Hmm I'm not local but I was in KW around that area about that time.. and had just given the car the full clay and wax treatment so I would have been very shiny..

Though maybe it wasn't me because you probably would have noticed my car is almost exactly (down to the wipers!?!) the same as yours with perhaps a little more tint. Saying nice car man might be a little redundant.

 

batmbile. Just an idea, if you are just planning to have weekly local coffee meets, why not do it on a weeknight? I would like to attend a few, if not all of these but i can definitly say i wont be attending any if they are all on saturdays. Like i said, if its just for coffee there is very little reason we cant do that during the week.

Saw a Titanium again in Whitby on Valleywood. Twice in a week if it's the same guy. I waved from my wifes car. Always see 8's when I'm not in mine!

Saw 2 more rx8s today, one in white, one in black, going north bound on Erin Mills around 3.30pm.
Good thing: their eyes were on the road ahead
not so good thing: no awareness of another 8 driver saying Hi

 

Unless the 8 was automatic, there is no need to be talking on the cell, while driving stick-shift, in the rain, at night time. That's a big no-no.

Get a handsfree kit and use that.

I wanted to wave at the 8 driver but didnt want to add to this distraction.

 

Saw a black 8 outside of the Boston Pizza at Warden and Steels. I had my back to it at first so I did not see the 8 until it got past me.

 

Black 8 on Cochrane Rd. in Markham 3:30 today pass each other him going south, me going north. Flash him no response, another young guy with no 8 etiquette LOL! Or maybe I was too quick for him.

Saw a 2009 white 8 parked up by Wendy's near the Walmart in Whitby north (hwy 12) around 8:20pm ... then say a red 8 passing in front of Walmart at 8:42pm (dude and dudette). Out with my wife plus my son so my 8 stayed home (two riders max in my car). Every time I am out in the wife's car I see 8's around!!

 

Umm Scoot, hate to break the news to you dude, but the 8 has 4 seats!!!

Saw 1 White R3 going westward on steeles from warden, then 5 second later 1 2004-05ish VR on steeles going eastward towards Warden...woot theres 3 Rx8 (including me) within 1 stoplight!!!

Finally see Al and paid for the track day...and know who got R1s haha

I'm a newbie here and just came across this thread. In UK 8 owners don't seem to let on to each other boo. But to be honest you don't see many. I saw one parked up yesterday, Sunlight Silver.

I've got a red 8 but trading it in for the new 09 model which I should get next week. I still can't decide on colour though, I can't even sleep cos it's on my mind constantly. It's between crystal white pearl and sparkling black mica. They're both gorgeous and the new wheels on the 09 8 are beautiful.

Has anyone seen any of these colours on the new 09 R3 model in the flesh and what did you think??

Listen ... I have had my days of moving the seat forward for the kids or their friends. They've gotten too big now anyway. If I can't sit the way I like when I drive ... then I don't use my car. Back seats are for misc items I need to take with me and that's all, just two empty seats with my sub woofer in between sticking out from the trunk area. Oh yeah ... nothing goes in the trunk either other than the stereo, inflation kit and one bottle of oil!

 

words to live by! - unless i adopt from ethopia my kids would never fit in the back. - or i suppose you can just cut the legs off at the knee to make enough room..... dont want them kicking the back of my seat! lol jks.
