Passed a Black 8 on 41st Ave (both of us westbound) just west of W Boulevard, he/she was stopped waiting for a car parallel parking. Looked like they stalled as well, I saw their lights go off, then come back on similar to how they do when you restart.

 

could be they pulled the handbrake? our headlights go off if you pull the handbrake
speaking of which, they come in handy tailing creeps.... there was this guy with a light blue last gen MPV (147 EEL plate if you see him in your neighbourhood)driving slowly through my neighbourhood's backlanes a week ago, and to make it less obvious I was tailing him, I pulled my handbrake slightly (before it engages, but shuts off my day time running lamps). Took him 10 mins before he realise I was tailing him and took off onto king edward...

 

Well... I doubt they'd put the parking brake on when they were in the middle of a lane, then suddenly switch it off. They weren't parking at all, just got stuck in the curb lane waiting for someone to pull into a slot.

 

Saw a silver one last night, (yeah an other one on the same day, what are the chances?) I was making a right to go north on Leslie off York Mills and he was travelling north on Leslie, by the time we realized eachother, and blinding eachother with our light (man they are bright aren't they hehe), twe exchanged, huh...hey...oh..too late...looks. So I make the right and travel north on Leslie hoping to catch up with him, and wouldn't you know it, he made a U-Ee and we go blarring by eachother again. (dang I say, dang) Anyways if you're on the forum give me a shout, I work close by. Oh, I was going to make U-Ee myself, but I was heading out to a welcome at the old homestead, it was 8:00pm ish.

saw a red one right before the fisherhallman exit in Kitchener-Waterloo. Took a good look at his car, noticed his liscense plate had some sort of blue cover, and he didnt have a front air damn or the rotary crests....

Titanium, South on Victoria Park at the 401 bridge ... 8:00 pm (2000h for military types) last night.

 

3 today...

Titanium Grey 8 turning westbound onto 41st from a Side Street (one block west of Yew).

Sunlight Silver GT West bound on 41st stopped at Cambie Street. Looked like he had strakes and tinted windows. Gave him a small wave, don't know if he saw me.

Black GT with two guys in it southbound on 10th as they crossed Kingsway in front of me.

 

Velocity Red parking in the canada's wonderland parking lot on sept 2... anyone here?


Velocity red parked by the prince of wales hotel in Niagara-on-the-lake today... I was going to stop and try to talk to the owner... but he was with his wife and I'm basically just a kid. I was driving a company delivery van at the time so he probably wouldn't have taken me seriously anyways.

 

Titanium Grey 8 with Tinted windows, strakes, and rear spoiler on the sea to sky highway. Passed him, and later he turned off at Porteau cove.

 

I don't beleive it myself, but I saw three.

6:50ish pm First one was blue travelling south bound on Kenndy, I was with my wife in the Mazda 3 making a left off 14th.

7:00pm second one was a T-grey travelling westbound along HWY 7 and went on the on ramp Southbound, if I recall correctly. Had a spolier and the rear accent.

7:20ish pm third one was a black one travelling southboud on Shirely towards Major Mac, we were driving home northbound.

Why is it that I see this many when I'm not driving my 8? Anyway, anyone from here?

Yea that was me... I was with my daughter buying her some back to school clothes, she's 15 going on 20 if you know what I mean. She can hardly wait until she's 16 so that she can take out the 8.

 

Don't you think it's silly to continue with this type of thread?? Honestly, I see RX-8's all over the place now... It would take forever to describe all of them. Hell, I've got 4 neighbours with RX-8's parked out in their driveways!!

Just last night I saw 3 of them. At least 3 new ones, as opposed to the regular ones I see every day....

Face it guys, you're no longer unique!! LOL You guys are becoming just as bad as all the G35's I see around town!!! lol

in some areas they're rare to see. And its not all about the uniqueness, its about the feeling you get when you see another one, and plus a lot of people appreciate other people sighting their RX-8s and posting them on this thread..... Do you even own an RX-8?

BTW-Blue RX-8, Saginaw Street, couple days ago (Cambridge Ontario)
