I noticed my rx8 making a clicking noise every 10seconds and it does it while I drive or parked. Any ideas what it could be

Come to think of it it probably is the wire cause I remeber when replaced my plugs I had to crimp the boot on of the cables because it was sliding of the plug. I will look into it in the morning. I need new wires what do you suggest moroso or racing beat

rx8 makes clicking sound when ac fan is turned on any ideas its not the spark plugs. Maybe a relay for the ac is going

Mine does this all the time, exact same thing.
I've taken it back to the dealer and they have not been able to do anything about it.

Honestly all I do is turn up the stereo. I'm really interested if you figure out how to fix this.

I suspect its the AC clutch kicking in that makes all the noise. I Also get a soft belt squeal sound (and its not the belts just sounds like it) when the ac is on and more pronounced if the defrost is on vents are split between defrost and say floor.

I get the noise too, when AC is on though. It's the compressor kickin in I think. Kinda the same noise when ya have a rock stuck in the tire tread noise?

Ah ok I thought it was something serious
