Noticed when I'm driving i hear almost like a ringing sound after switching gears, give it more gas, its gone, is this natural? Also on two occasions I have heard almost a knocking sound well a sound from the hood, heard it only twice, dont hear it most of the time. Any ideas on what it may be? I kno its not much to go on, just wondering if any of yall wanna take a shot.

If it's a screechy kind of sound, I have it too. I believe it's the brake shield or something to that effect. You're definitely not alone, seems to happen to a lot of people.

im from socal and i caught my eyes on your thread

i hate that noise. i get that all the time.
when i idle in gear. it goes *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK.... on and on*
until i gas....
*sigh*
i want to get rid of that sound.
at first i thought it was my suction kit reloaded
but i took it off and it was still there... lol

Wait I think we're talking about a different noise. Yours is transmission-related. If you do a search in the tech forum, you'll find other people talk about it. I remember reading about it before.
