I went to Don Deans Collision.
They reshaped my rear fender, took out the metal deep scratches and did a good job on the repainting. They were a bit pricey (I feel), but nonetheless did a remarkable job.
Also, they've handled more than a few RX-8's.
What happened, if you don't mind my asking?

Passed a solid yellow light in the right lane. Then while I was in the middle of the intersection I see the car in front of me stopped suddenly which would force me to be stuck in the middle of the intersection. I turned my wheel before I made my shoulder check to change to the left lane. There was a CRV who ran the yellow as well that was later than me (his front bumper was in the place of my rear left wheel) when I tried to change lanes into him. It was raining and the bad thing with the snow tires is that I tended to be too nice with them (try not to brake suddenly or accelerate fast to save the tread).
But anyway, I went to a place in Richmond today and they qouted me about 900 bucks.... is that expensive Enzolor? How much was yours if you don't mind me asking (or PM me if you can). Was yours just deep scratches on the surface or was it dented and crunched?

Recall my incident:
https://www.rx8club.com/canada-forum-35/gonna-cry-31904/
I had some damage to the rear fender where it was actually crunched inward (not severe, but pretty significant). They had to hammer it back out and reshape. Pretty decent job! Very close to the original, and unnoticeable.
Scratches were metal deep, on both the rear fender panel as well as rear bumper, so they repainted both sections. Mind you, the paint job has to run the full length of the panel.. so that means repainting the entire rear bumper and rear fender panel that extends all the way to the A-pillar. Something to do with the continuity of the clear coat.

hmm, $900 seems okay i guess...
have u tried asking for a quote from marine drive collisions?
just bring ur car down there and let them take a look at it...
ask them how much you'll save with the cash only payment...
oh and they've handled a rx8 there before as well and remarkable job...

My fiance just had her car down at craftsmen collision for an ICBC fix, since her car had a hit and run, but be careful what kind of courtesy car, my insurance stated that a courtesy car should match what I am driving closely, but I ended up with an altima which was not a nice car I felt, and my fiance ended up with a toyota (which she wasnt happy with either)
I think all courtey cars seem to be cars which make you want your car back that much faster.
