Parking Lot Idiots

Went out for lunch yesterday to meet KenKen3686,

Guy pulls into a spot in front of me, I move forward past him and had to stop because of traffic ahead, he throws it in reverse and without checking just backs straight into me :|.

Luckily someone witnessed it, and provided info to be a witness, so im sure they will deam him at fault, and my insurance should be fine

Pics of the Carnage, now trying to get it appraised by insruance and see if they'll fix it.

What do you guys think it will cost?

Thanks Ken for sticking around and helping me get the guy's info, hopefully ill have this all sorted in the next couple of weeks, and we can make our other deal.

Cheers,

Wheels

Holy crap!!! What the hell was he driving??? An F150 or Tundra???

I hate driving into the GTA during the rate race. People are too busy doing other things than actual driving. It's freakin ridiculous!

How do you not realize there could be someone behind you before backing up????

I'm probably the only person who crawls backwards whenever I need to get out of a parking spot. Which is rare since I make sure I park as far away as possible from the rest of the people.

2yrs and the Miata is still dent free.

He was driving a Jeep Cherokee.

But I think he basically floored it in reverse, you can see the carnage, and I was at a stand still

Wow that sucks man. Make sure the susp gets checked, my 'teg got hit like that, the guy offered me 5000 on the spot to fix it but i went through the insurance. good thing i did cause it cost over 6000.
the quarter and the bumper don't look too bad but the door has to be reskinned or replaced.

Dropped it off at the body shop last night, and it didn't feel good to drive, there's definitely a bit of a vibration from the suspension, i told the guy about it, he said he'll check everything over :|.

Hopefully im not without my baby too long, ill probably get them to put my winters on as well, ill take them over when i got to pick it up, hopefully like i said in a couple of weeks, but you never know with these things, espically since i don't know the full extent of the damage yet .
