Hey everyone,
I just put a set of the new 245/40/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sports on a 2011 Scion TC. After driving on them I can truly say I have never been more impressed with a tire in my life. This tire is luxury quiet with no bad street habits at all. Its level of performance is simply staggering for a treaded street tire. I would venture to say that its not far off the R1 that I race on. This is a premium tire and its not inexpensive. It is suppose to last twice as long as any other premium ultra high performace tire. If you get a chance to drive on these things do it, you will be amazed!

 

I'm actually strongly considering these for my next tires. My PS2s are getting pretty worn.

Well I have driven on a lot of "new" tires in my time lol from the Goodyear "gatorbacks" in the 80's which were years ahead of their time etc. It will take the other tire manu's a few years to catch up to these!
