New Kit

Not sure if you guys have seen this. A new Autoexe kit is out. Looks pretty good. Check it out versus the the MS kit in photo. What do you think?

Umm...looks pretty good, the new Autoexe kinda looks like the 09 RX-8 front bumper but with a lower lip

I like the hood comes down a little lower than the MS version. I also like its aggressiveness without being too busy...

Does Autoexe have a good reputation for fit?

mmm, this kit really seems to be getting a lot of attention on the boards...i initally was thinking of going mazdaspeed but this kit has me thinking differently..like the above posts mention, it really gives a facelift to the 04-08's that is also pretty classy & subtle at the same time...i think on the mazmart thread the bumper was $750ish landed in the US...so shipping to Canada might be a "little" more

The one thing I really like about the MS kit is the grey piece that runs along the bottom. Anyone know a way of adding that to the autoexe spoiler - an aftermarket piece that would also help protect the spoiler from scrapes?

The grey piece is kind of an integrated air splitter. I don't think it's functional though. So you could probably look around for real air splitters.

These are air splitters. http://www.trackdogracing.com/website/air_splitters.htm

^ Really? I don't think either kit is too rice. Both look great, just different...

That picture doesn't do the bumper justice, so i can kinda see why foot might see some "ricey-ness" plus there is too much chrome... but the pictures in the first post give a better impression...gah i can't decide

You can add me to that group buy.

I was planing on buying this autoexec bumper anyways. Originally I was going to go with the MS too... it's simple, it's clean and it looks "authentic Mazda"

Problem is, there are way too many MS front bumpers where I live. It's very common and... this autoexec does everything I want the MS to do, plus, it looks "rare", and looks "authentic Mazda" also.

So if some people would prefer the MS front bumper... GREAT!! I hope more people buy the common MS front bumper. It looks great anyways!!
