Hi all, just moved here a couple of weeks ago from the 'States and saw quite a number of owners in this area. I have an 04 Titanium Grey. I was wondering if there are any recommendations on where to go to for the basics: dealership service, trustworthy mechanic, car wash?

Choosing a dealership for service here is basically choosing the least of evils. You'll find a lot of opinions at http://forum.ottawamazda.ca/forumdisplay.php?f=16. Personally I go to performance mazda, they're not perfect but at least they've owned up to mistakes.

As for car washes, I do it in my garage (even in the winter!). But if you don't have that luxury, there are plenty of bays around the city. Which end of the city are you?

 

Hey thanks for the welcome! It sucks that we have to choose the lesser of two evils. I live near the eastern side of downtown Ottawa but west of the Rideau River. I just realized that my apartment's garage has a car wash area, so I guess I'm all set with that
