okay, im in for breakfast. i dont care where we go really.

andy posted an itinerarry for those of us meeting for breakfast. leave scarborough mazda at 7:30 so we arent rushing. Im down for that. So ill be getting to scrab mazda sometime around 7-7:15 just to be safe. if i miss you guys, i will likely get lost trying to find where ever you all decide to go for breakfast. Also, might i suggest getting to the regestration trailer before 10:45....aiming for 10:30 would make me feel more comfortable. Just a suggestion.

Also, i dont know if my post was missed so i'll restate it.

Al, i volunteer my car to you to use for the parade lapping, so long as i get shotgun.

I will meet you guys at the track at the registration center about 10:30, I need to get there early to make arrangements etc. I appreciate all of you volunteering your cars, only problem is I need to have a radio person in the car with me.

So, since I was the last person to leave I noticed there was a free nylon camping/folding chair by my car.

I'm expecting a $0.32 recovery fee if some one wishes to claim it... Honour system here guys, I don't want to give some one a chair that isn't theirs. I'd feel better if your could tell me the colour or something about it to make sure it belongs to you.

lol, this definitly belongs to marc. i posted in the thread you made about it.

thanks a million Al. had lots of fun today. Although i think i have whatever sickness chris was fighting off...ah well. it was totally worth it.

Im gonna have to get myself a GPS though...i cant stand traffic and every time i do a track day, or anything with this club over in the toronto area i get stuck in like 5 traffic jams on the way home....a GPS would give me the confidence to venture out into the country and take backroads instead. more relaxing, maybe slower....but i just cant handle traffic jams. also, i can get 450 to a tank with stricktly country driving. the highway stresses me out so i end up doing 130 the whole way and destroying any home of reaching 400/tank.

Hats off to Al, good job on organizing the day nice one.My passenger who went all the way home with the grin factor look on his face muttering to him self "gotta get my driver license gotta get my driver license" so again good job on turning a none driver into a rotary enthusiast.

i thought i was doing well recording my best mileage ever! a full tank of shell v power and a bottle of lucas octane booster for rotarys i managed to get 342 km and the light is still not on yet, thats with some spirited driving before and after the track with 20 minutes of pure redline pleasure.I normally get in the mid 200's to a tank.

my 8 idles smoothly now and the tranny whirl noise has reduced by half. woot woot

I guess there is truth in the saying a redline a day keeps the mechanics away.

As a great man would say "ITS A GREAT DAY FOR A MOTOR CAR RACE" (Sir jackie Stewart)

First Time driving at Mosport great fun and a little humbling, Track school this spring for sure!
Thanks Al and a good turn out. Thumper keep us posted on the car, just a little bad luck. Hope it's not too serious.

Sounds like everyone had a great time!
I think I read only 1 RX7 showed up.

What's all this I hear about cars spinning out and cars blowing up??? Wasn't this the usual "parade" lap??

If anyone wants to know, I had a great time in Mexico. Unfortunately, it's back to the old grind.

You heard right... 1 Rx-7 (behind me) and then the guy the spun out, did it in front of me. That's twice that's someone's spun in front of me now at these events. There is a reason I leave a bit more distance then the pack does.
I Didn't get it on video unfortunately. I only took 2 laps worth of vid.

Anyone know a good conversion program to make video smaller? maybe I'll u-tube it or something
