i just called my local mazda dealer here in toronto and they told me the mazdaspeed kit for rx8 is discontinued. anyone know where i can get it???thanks for the help guys

 

lol.. sounds like your dealer didnt want to order the kit for you. try a different dealership or check with the vendors on the boards.

 

Try scarb mazda, but last year I heard they are not making anymore so quantity is slim to none

 

Some dealers can't figure out how to order it because their parts system filters by VIN and if your car didn't come from the factory with it the part won't show up.

You need to give them a part # and they can be creative with it...

 

The last I heard, Mazdaspeed is going through a "restructure". I have no idea what that means, but I know it's getting tougher, if not impossible, to get Mazdaspeed parts for your car.
Best thing to do is to go to the parts department with an exact part # and see if it's still available.
Keep in mind you might be disappointed with the results. But I'm sure there should be more than a few Mazdaspeed parts for the RX-8. I know for the Miata there's parts available.

 

What? Mazdaspeed is discounting to make Rx-8 parts or what?

 

I checked mazdamotorsports and they don't seem to list it under competition parts. The good news is that you can order a Grand-Am carbon fibre kit.
