375 km @ 48 litres to fill, just swapped back to K&N filter and changed the plugs. I find the biggest factor in fuel economy to be startups, less of those, the further you go.

My daily commute is only 12 km, and I go through a lot of start/stop cycles in winter.. further contributing to my fuel economy.

I totally agree, I've deduced that in winter, each START UP from a cold engine costs you about $3 in fuel no matter where you go... so better make it count!

Remember people... you should list your L/100km or MPG which is calculated based on how much km you travelled and how much gas you actually put in the tank.

Listing the how many you got per tank isn't accurate enough because was that done when you hit fuel light? was that done when it was at E?

My Fuel light for example comes on at approx 45 L / 60 L used.

ok, 48L@ 375km = 12.6L/100km

60% highway/40% city......420 km a tank in spring, summer and fall when it's warm. 350 or so a tank early spring or late fall when its cold. It really sucks the gas when it's cold out but I don't drive it in winter anyway. I am not hard on it but give it once in a while. Screw the premium gas, I use midgrade and the car runs and has always ran perfectly with the first e-test as all zeros, yes 0's. I did get over 500 a tank once on a cruise control trip up north at 110kph all highway in the summer driving like granny!

65000km
plugs at 50k
K+N filter
original iginition coils still
pretty well all stock

would driving the car with one of the spark plug wires disconnected from the spark plug destroy my cat?

Hahaha, Thats rough. I spend about 100$ a week and i drive hard. If i try and make gas last, 3/4 thousand RPMs is usually best.

haha i'm can't complain about my 8's milage at all, when I hit boost in the FD you can literally see the gas gauge start moving down, boost gauge goes up, gas gauge goes down, but its addicting as hell haha

About 400km till the light, pretty consistent. I find this car responds well to efficient driving techniques: long coasting to avoid stopping at lights, pulse and glide and letting someone else break the air stream in front of you on the highway.

Of course at the track it's about a 100km to a tank.

It seems very sensitive to these techniques and conditions, and also seems sensitive to ambient air temperature. We've had a bit warmer weather here lately, and now many of my daily commute trips are now averaging 25-27 mpg on my scangauge. Mostly highway, of course...
