Ok it stopped raining, but it's damp out. If the dampness doesn't go away in a few hours, I'm out as well. Can't wash a car when it's damp outside, just asking for dirty roadspray to splash back on all over the car!

WARNING to future people using the Valleymede car wash.

Bay no. 1 (first on the left) in the line up. The hose assembly on the ceiling normally is held on by 4 bolts. It is now held on one by ONE bolt and that bolt is loose allowing the bracket to swivel. It is only a matter of time before that loosens as well and could potentially damage your car.

Please be advised.

I forgot to.. next time I'll tell them. I don't think they give a ****. The place is runned by people that look like they either came from Scarborough or Brampton, if you know what I mean...

 

In case some of you are planning to go to Valleymede Shell gas station to wash your car. One of our member went yesterday and said the self wash area was closed. Not sure if they are open again yet.

I might be able to make it out. We sure we want to bank on Valleymede? I have to say, I got another full wash at Enterprise for $8, and free dry time, it's a good deal!

I think what I'm more interested in, is Richmond Court. But we'll see how it goes.

 

I already said so that the car runs perfectly fine.. starts/drives/redlines okay! just not very often and with poor mileage. The rotary engine is actually quite durable....

 

Valleymede is closed for now.. not sure what they are doing. I hope they don't shut it down to build another condo. WE NEED THAT GAS STATION THERE!!!! I DO!

We have to go to another self-wash bay that's cheap. Anyone know?

Valleyemede is now open. I found out what happened. An old woman was driving her car into the automatic wash bay. As she was coming out somehow her foot was in full throttle. She plowed over not one but two concrete curbs and bushes and plowed right into the shell store back side. It took out the entire wall. Destroyed the electrical panel room and also took out the washroom andback office. Luckily no one was taking a **** at the moment cause that would have been a terrible death. How would one write the obituary then? Hahahaha reminds me of Jurassic park scene.

 

Aahaha, that is pretty funny! So I take it she was driving a Toyota, right? XD

I was pretty confused though, I was going past there and decided to pull in to see if I could see what was going on, and the whole place was running, car wash and all, I was like wtf there's nothing closed down here. Anyway glad to hear our old winter haunt is back on the map.

Already know I can't make it next Friday, but I hope I get to see you guys soon.

im going go-karting at GP Kartways tmr night if anyone wants to drop in ... going with some buddies of mine (we got groupon coupons for unlimited racing 6pm-12am) but anyone can join in (at full price however) - im down for late night food after that if you guys are gonna do that :P

 

Turns out no go for me this week, I have to be in for NINE now. That's a hell of a shift ...
