The date is May 8th and we will meet at the registration center on the way into the track. I will be there by 815am that day. I am going to close registration about 10:30 or when we get 40 cars whatever comes 1st.

Hey guys are we going to do a meet before hand? I forgot how long it took to drive there last year... anyone feel like meeting at Markham Station for some breakfast and then heading out onto the 401? Not sure about time line but how would 8 am sound ?? (footman wanna lead the way again =P ?)

 

Al is closing registration at 10:30am.

Lets aim for 9:45am arrival.


Markham station for breakfast at 7:45am (often known to have stragglers showing up late)
Roll out at 9am from Markham Station.

Cruise speed set for 105 km/h. Save fuel everyone, and also with a preset speed (assuming most of you are near or on-near stock wheel diameter, if everyone travels at a known cruise speed, you will no longer have to worry about ever touching the gas to compensate!

 

i'll meet you guys at the track, i try to avoid driving in convoys when ever possible.

Really looking forward to getting out for this! For those of you who have been in the past, do people (who have them) go through the trouble of putting their track wheels/tires on for it?

 

a few people have.. there's really no need unless you're trying to save your stock rubber at all costs.

 

Well I was just notified by my gf that I have plans tomorrow morning picking up cupcakes for her niece and nephew’s 3rd birthday party.

I have no idea....all I know is that he was gone from my mirror (I was the car infront) by the time we got to corner 8 on lap 1.

 

This season is going fantastic.

Yeah I guess your right, it was a little harsh, the 3 guys who were with me in their RX8's enjoyed pointed at and laughed at, also the pointing to the street car i was driving and the race car then the track everytime we went by where it was parked should have been ignored just like the comments to the guys when we were moving our stuff out a lunch "whats the matter going home already hee hee?" I do apologize. One thing about me is that I dont really get mad but I truly never forget things and if your gonna walk the walk then you better be able to back it up. I have never claimed to anywhere near a pro driver or have the fastest car and when someone has something better I usually just admire it and try to learn.

Anyway back to bigger and more fun things...............Anyone got ppicks to post from yesterday?
