Lucas Oil 10110 Semi-Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil - 1 Quart Bottle as Premix oil
So I've been trying to find the Idemitsu Rotary Premix, but since I live in Canada, it's very difficult to come across one unless you pay around $50 for shipping which is just absurd.
So I was browsing through and found out that Lucas Oil 10110 Semi-Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil - 1 Quart Bottle which is relatively cheap compared to insane shipping rate of Idemitsu
And was wondering if this works as the premix for my 2009 Mazda RX8 R3:

Also, if you go to Lordco or Napa, you can get the 4L bottle for like 45$ or something like that. Which is a big savings over the 1L bottles

I have been running this on my Rx8 since I got the car 3+ years ago. It works great IMO as the car blows clean smoke even though it’s straight piped. It runs $9.99 at my local auto parts store compared to the regular blend 2 stroke oil that runs about $6 a quart.
The endurance guys I know have just been running shell rotella T4 for their engine oil, sohn, and premix. Mainly because they tend to see their oil pan dilute with whatever premix oil they are running. It is definitely much cheaper, but I still gotta check how it suspends in fuel tank though, I might do that tonight. Considering mazda designed the car to inject your warmed conventional crank oil I think it'd be perfectly fine so long as it suspends.
My plan would be to run the synthetic T6 in the pan for the temp properties and then run T4 for the sohn+premix that way any dilution wouldn't be that much of a problem.
