I'm a representitive at a local Mazda Dealership...
I want to get more exposure into the tuning aspects with our MazdaSpeed line of body , performance and other OEM accessories..

Our dealership wants to set-up a new department targeted strictly for Mazdaspeed products for the RX-8 (and other Mazda's as well)...

Just want to get some of your inputs, or if there would be any interests in setting something like this up for local RX-8 and other Mazda owners??

- would you guys be interested in a GB for Mazdaspeed parts? or maybe even OEM parts? (why and why not?)
- would any of you be interested in special meets for specific models at our dealership, as well as a tour of our facility? (why and why not?)

If I am able to set-up enough interests from you guys, I can try and get something started...and work out all the details on pricing...etc..

I would be interested in a GB for Mazdaspeed parts. More towards the Fall in terms of timing however.

 

I would also be interested as well for GB for mazda speed parts AND INSTALLATION. Pricing for aftermarket parts compared to Mazda Speed parts are significantly lower. I would say try hitting the 30-40% off list price and I think you'll get a very decent response. Attract buyers first to your product and your delaership with really good valuable discounts as a loss leader and then if you deliver and install nicely, 8 owners will be back and you can profit from the other services/repairs/parts you would sell to them in the future.

The 15% discount just doesn't cut it enough for me personally.

 

If you really want to get this right, you'd coordinate dealers in Vancouver and Ottawa to get a big push on MS sales... and you'd look pretty smart doing so. A larger market, no currency problems, and everyone looks good with the purchasing power of a group buy. You could start by calling all the dealers in the Vancouver/Ottawa area in the Canadian Mazda Dealerships book, for example...

Plus you'd look really smart doing so.

We won't let anyone know that someone here thought of it first!
