Been waiting almost 3 weeks but finally got delivery of the '07 RX8. Now just waiting for the "Performance Package" from the dealership. Does anybody know if any RX8 has actualy received this yet? I keep hearing different stories that include "it's not available" & "Mazda can't get it". One dealership told me that they had one in stock with the performance package...but lied...

Fun ride so far...only 200 kms put on since Friday. Great car.

I think one or two people got it. I spoke with the owner of my dealership and he said it depends on when the dealership put in the order. If they did it back in January you should have it soon. If they ordered it basically now, you won't get it for a while. I was told I won't have mine until August and I bought mine way back in January. Pissed!

 

Leesha has it... a VR 06 with mazdaspeed front (upgraded)

 

I've got it. Mazda didn't ship until beginning of April. I've got 7000 kms on mine and I love it.

Just curious....have you been pulled over yet for the lack of a front license plate?

 

No...have it on my dash for now but sometimes I take it down because it is to noisy.

 

Thanks to all of you! I originally went to the Mazda dealership at Lawrence & Warden in Scarborough & the manager told me that Mazda was not delivering any performance packages and would not offer a price break on the special that Mazda was advertising. I have since learned differently from Mazda Canada directly and if that poor bastard worked for me, he'd be looking for a job. I wouldn't bring my car there to leak oil ...

Car has been great and yes, it does drink gas! I've now painted myself into a bike and car that both take premium fuel but I'd rather pay extra for the gas than get less of the zoom.
