Although I just joined the board, I am indebted to all of you, as it was reading your discussions here that helped sway me towards my purchase last week of an 05 Titanium Gray 6sp. Couldn't have gotten the deal I did without all the info here...

My mazdaspeed springs/ shocks/ sways arrive next week, and then I hope to sneak in a few track days before I shove off from the earthquakes of Los Angeles to the Tornadoes of Alabama...

Again, my thanks- I've never enjoyed a car out of the box the way I do this one- and I've been through a few ('86 911sc, M coupe, Type R, S2000, WRX...).

Now if I could just afford the labor on that flywheel...

Congrats on your brand new RX-8!! Wow... from LA to Alabama? What a change! I hope you manage well on your trip there. Lucky! Trackday! But.... isn't the RX-8 brand new? No break-in period?! Or are you gonna drive it like crazy.... hahaha
