I managed to get 430kms out of my tank. I noticed this change when I had the motor Decarbonized. And the Gas Light wasnt on. Just wondering wat most of u are getting, cause I used to only be able to get 350kms

Lol I hear you.

But you know what...*cue Twilight Zone music*...I had my engine zoomed several months ago and damned if my first tank after wasn't 30% better than normal! It went back down to its usual bad level thereafter...so who knows, maybe a little leftover ZoomSauce is a good thing?!

Anybody (non-turbo'd) in the 250km ~ 300km range? Mine's stock, that seems to be what I get. I won't say I drive nicely; I drive my RX-8 hard like it was intended for. I notice my fuel economy is better in the summer (near 300km per tank) and it gets poor (250km per tank) when temperature starts to decline.

I check my tire pressure frequently. I'm getting injector de-carbonization done today, and replacing spark plugs as soon as they arrive. I hope these will make the car more affordable to operate.

52L ~ 400km, consistently.
Long trips in the summer: 430-470km
City in the winter: 360km

It's an 04 with 52,000km and BHR ignition.

I'd say that if you feel you are getting low Km's per tank, you may want to try the BHR upgrade. Our winters are very tough on the ignition! As well, cold weather puts stress on the moving parts of the vehicle, which means sucking more gas. So make sure you check your fluids regularly!!!
