How bad is stalling....

So, I managed to stall the car today, don't ask! I know it's very VERY rare when I do it, however, does it damage our engines, or cause any concern? Thanks and God Bless you guys,

Ben.

Won't hurt it anymore than shutting it off......will cause problems if it's cold though...it might flood

It be bad if it was just started in the cold. Even so, new rx-8s are equipped with different plugs and batteries to 'fight' flood. Allah Ackbar!

The only thing you have to worry about with stalling is if there is something in front of your car, like another car for instance

Hey CIB,

I agree with Rem31. I was at a drivethru and the cashier was going on about how cool my car is. We talked about this and that and he was in awe. Then I pull out and stall it. Took a few seconds to crank but I felt like an ***.

On a rare occurance, stalling isn't bad, but you would deff. throw the rear bearing out if you did it all the time
