Holy ****

I'm just so happy! I just picked up my brand new 2007 Stormy Blue tonight! As I was driving home I kept laughing like a maniac because I was so happy. Not only is it such a great car, but I found out Mazda started a promotion 2 days ago in which if you buy an RX8, you get $3500 worth of stuff for free. "Stuff" consists of front and rear rotary accents, a wing, a Mazdaspeed (i think) intake, and a set of Mazdaspeed wheels!

Of course tonight was probably one of the worst times to take delievery of a car with summer tires. Nothing but sliding. I look forward to coming out to some meets in the future! Thanks to Road Cone (Dave) for selling me this sexy beast.

Welcome to the club and congrats on the car. Wierd thing is that I still have the same reaction to driving my '8 and I've had mine for over a year! Get yourself some winter tires (215/55/17 or 225/50/17) and when you get a chance add your location to your profile...

Thanks for the welcome. I got some winter tires put on today so I can breathe while i drive. Though low speed drifting was kind of fun.

Cool

Sounds like a great deal - those of us who bought early paid top dollar and never even got a keyring! Do you get to pick or is it a package "of stuff"?

Another newbie

Me too! Picked up my '06 in Galaxy Grey yesterday and drove it from Toronto back home to Ottawa. Mazda put on a beautiful set of winter rims with the Blizzak's eveyone recommended on this forum and I had no problem making the 500K trip despite the bad driving weather.

Welcome to the club. Be careful in the snow with those Potenza's. Way to get the best colour out there, I really like the dark blue. See you at a meet.

Question

I cant find any info on that package!!
Front and rear accents, MS CAI, MS spoiler and are those the new split 5 spoke MS wheels or the old 5 spoke gold/gunmetal ones?

No idea which wheels they are. Its expected to take a while before I get the free stuff because of ordering and what not. I just saw a photocopied page at the dealership. Maybe I'll use the wheels for winters.

Unfortunately I forgot to bring the digital camera when I picked up the car so I only have a few camera phone pics. I've attached the best one. Of course 5km down the road and it was already plenty filthy.
