Haha,finally.flex edfc,jdm start button installed!!^^
Even it is not perfected looked, however , i spent a lot of money to make it installed......since it is very dark inside the car in the evening.....it doesnt matter to the surface of the button,we can just see its rotary emblem and the red led around the button....i love the tein flex....really good performance on my car....strong feeling of the handling changing

i checked about that start button and my dealer told me it would void my warrenty.. But here's the thing, i kinda caught them in a lie. I asked them one day if they would install genuine mazda parts even if it came from japan. Their response was "yes". I then asked them if they would do the start button, they said no and it would void my electrical warrenty!@ I actually think they were all morons and had no clue how to do it..

Just took off the coin tray..cut a hold on it..then cut the 3D rotary-shaped button holder from the JDM mazda coin tray replacement panel. And glue them together...but the most troublesome thing was this step...to combine them together..cos the cutting edge was freaking anomalous....so you have to find something like liquid plastic thing(i dont know what they use)...to fill in all the opening.....finally to make it look better....reshape it and paint it black...that was like what bodyshop always did.....see, it's still no good when you check it closely, however, since you already installed it on the left-steered rx8....and we are not gonna check the bottom of the button tray very often, we just see the red led lightening....for me it's good enough im happy with it..
Take more time to work on it....you guys can do it perfectly .
BtW, cos the metal panel to hold the start button inside is also made for the right-steered car...so when you add it on the left,it will be a little angle on the tray..not totally dead against you.....but install it on the ash tray there wont be coming this problem...make your decision to choose the place you want it to be.(i just dont like to lift the cover of the ash tray each time before i start the engine.

i dont know ,different people different choice...maybe he though that blue was more visiable. you know what? i got the 05 key today, and they told me , that my old ones will be gone that cannot be used anymore...They said it just totally different chips and programs for the key05....but finally all the keys work properly, just even you leave the trunk open, then you lock the car,its gonna still be with the locking alarm sound ,not as usual if some doors or trunk are not closed that you cant hear it. my dealer is Wolfe Mazda...it cost me round 320 bucks to get everything done with my 05 key...damit..while someone else got the key 180 totally and coding programing cutting for free.
