Dude, I have driven an EVO in anger and there aint no understeer in it unless you really have no idea about braking or apexes etc. You drive an EVO like a rear drive car and in Super Sport Mode it splits most of the power to the rear wheels, you can even hang the tail out if you turn off the traction/stability control. I really like the EVO for what it is. Having said that I'd still buy a Z06 lol.

alright guys, looks like I'm going to have to back out of this weekend (unfortunately for me). The car's having some problems and it's not running too reliably... so i definitely shouldn't take it out 150+ km out of the city and drive it hard for 30 minutes lol...

I never liked AWD. Just something unnatural about it. Especially with the STi's and EVO's. I don't know, just something not normal about those vehicles. Last time I drove them, you can still feel the push of the FWD architecture.
Z06 is a completely different beast.

New twist to the event I have asked and been given permission by BEMC to allow someone to ride in the passenger front seat with me, that person has to be over 18. I think we should offer it to the highest bidder to raise a bit more money!

No tax-receipts, at least not sure how it's going to be done because Rick will hand a cheque to Al, whom will send the amount out to Sick Kids.
Question is, does Al want to do that? Or should Rick just present the cheque to Al for the purpose of seeing it, and then Rick makes the donation down to Sick Kids?
If no one is bothered with formalities, I can just make a web donation with the collected money, and then screen capture the completion page/receipt and post it here to show that it's been done. That way on Sunday, it's just straight to business.

Are we still doing groups? Thinking about taking a second spot for the wife in her 8 but she would definitely need to be in a slow group. Also not sure if she'd be able to keep pace with the forecasted rain...

Yes there will be two groups. One group essentially for people who's been there, and the second group for people who's never been on it and/or want to take it easy.
