I'm game for AYCE sushi, if no one knows a better place there's a decent place at the 401 and Weston road. 17.99 I think. Wakame sushi.

AYCE tend to be not that good. I prefer a-la-carte ordering. But lets see what the majority wants? I vote a-la-carte

List updated... I've asked 01racing if more spaces could open.. in the meantime, I've started the waiting list, which can only go on if you've paid me right away. People on this wait list automatically get bumped into main list after Sept 1. This list essentially are for people who put money where their mouthes are

Hi everyone,
We can open up more spaces, all that means is less track time per group. The more cars in the group the slower the pace will be waiting for everyone to stay in a "pack". If we have 2 groups we can probably do 15-20 cars per group and probably get 15 minutes for each group. Its totally up to you how we split it out.
I think we can probably get about 30 minutes or so of total track time. If you want opinion we would be better to have 2 groups of about 15 cars per group and split into faster/slower. That will allow the more advanced guys faster laps rather than waiting all the time for the others to keep up.

OP updated...

"Time: Arrive at track and sign in no later than 10:45am."

Sending me a cheque by mail is an okay method of payment for those not wanting/trusting email interac transfers.

2 groups sounds good....how are we planning to decide between the fast and slow groups? And the line up in each of these groups?

Number of times on this big track plus other track time for the FAST group?

Vs.

Never been on this track plus other track time for the SLOW group?

When signup ends on Sept 7, I will ask each of you for those that have confirmed/paid to pm me honestly with your track experience. Many of you I know already as to the amount of track experience you have so it will be simple.

Before the day, I will post a group list which will show correspondly which group I have decided you to be in. Therefore, on the day of, there is no confusion as to which group goes first, the only choice you have to make is who's in front/behind yourself.

Unfortunately there may be a chance (from the looks of the list), that there will be a lot of experienced drivers, so please don't feel insulted if you're put in the slow group, it just means that from what everyone has submitted to me, all those people on the fast group have had more experience than you do.

Due to recent projects at work I may have less time that I thought so I'm going to open up my spot to anyone else who wants it. In the end if there is a space remaining and I have time, I'll come along.

I will still be donating. Footman, I'll hand you my donation at the next meet I can make it out to.

edit: that means Mafiaboy01 will take my spot since he is first on the waiting list

BAD NEWS AMIGOS....

I've been tasked to work that weekend. I can take the organization of stuff through to the completion of the sign up, but am looking for a volunteer on that day to handle the on-site matters. Your job really just consists of handing the cheque to Al, and giving people their instructions and making them sign track waivers.

on a side note...my engine somehow managed to pass the compression test...though it didn't give good numbers, but for now I won't be getting a new engine yet, so I should be able to come out after all : )
