Changed coils, lost power!?

I have an '09 R3 with 48k, and I know a lot of members suggest that coils, wires and plugs need to be replaced on regular basis ~30k (miles). As a result I replaced the coils at a dealership and an order was placed for ignition wires. I was thinking of changing the plugs as well soon.

However, after the coils were changed the car starts little weird, I can upload a video, and from 3-5k rpms I can feel 10-15hp loss of power.

Any ideas what might be the case?

You have an accurate butt dyno lol, my best guess is that the wires aren't fully connected.

Recheck all of the connections. Make sure everything is bolted down to the required torque and leading to the correct coil/plug, and make sure all wires are snug (hear a click).

Is "a dealership" a Mazda dealership? If not, make sure the wires are ordered correctly L1T1L2T2. Also make sure the spark plugs are tightened all the way (as much as you can by hand, then a 1/4 - 1/2 turn (this is very important ... i had a lot of power issues when my spark plugs werent torqued down ... they will back themselves out slowly)

OMG! You are not gonna believe it. I opened the hood to check everything and they forgot to put on coil. So there is only 3 connected. And yes paimon.soror, I did it at Westowne Mazda (427/dundas).

Now, I'm not really good with mechanics, but is it ok to drive it like that to the dealership which is like 8km away from my house?

What isn't connected on the 4th? If it's at the wiring harness end, then yes, technically you can, although it's not great for the engine.

If it's a plug wire not connected, the coil will fry fast. Give them a call first.

Either way, both are REALLY easy to connect.
