Oui vraiment nice le meet, j'ai appris plein de choses.

J'ai juste oublier de faire conduire quelqu'un pour un test drive de ma transmission qui fait des "clak" quand je shift de temps en temps... Anyway, next meet jvais y penser.

Tel que posté plus haut, le premier meet official du Club RX Québec aura lieu aujourd’hui le 18 mai 2008 à partir de ±13h00.

Lieu : Clinique Dentaire Jean-Pierre Laithier, 3877 Chemin Oka, St-Joseph-du-Lac, J0N 1M0

On sera sur place jusqu'à ± 17h30-18h00. Après ça on ira probablement à un restaurant pour manger (à confirmer). Vous pouvez toujours appeler Max (Wankel FD RX-7) sur son cell (405-602-1972) pour savoir ou on est rendu.

Ce matin on a un beau soleil. Si jamais il mouille, Max poster avers 11h30 pour confirmer si le meet est annulé ou pas. Il va post sur le site du Club RX: http://www.clubrxquebec.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2964

I would probably not go to a racing track. Last time it cost me an arm and a leg in gaz (30l per 100km) and my car is not well tuned yet. I'm still waiting for MazdaManiac maps for my AcessPort since my AFR is too lean. I don't want to kill my motor and/or my CAT.

I would still like to have another meet, either go at the Boston Pizza along with the Club RX Quebec or have another meet at Quartier Dix 30. I have something new to show, I installed my Tein Flex Coilover suspension with a nice drop and a brand new paint scratch from a lunatic biker !

You mentionned Cartier Dix30, it's good for me. Sunday seem to be sunny

Im dropping my 8 tomorrow to the dealer to replace engine mounts, coil+spark plug, oil cooler . I believe my car applies to the Engine Lack of power TSB and I think that the new coil+spark wont change anything. I will probably need an engine replacement. Hope to confirm this with you guys....

Once we meet we'll certainly find some ppl that want to go on a track for a day... There's no way we can appreciate this car on Quebec's roads....

does anyone from montreal have a cobb access port?

 

I do and it's great. I did buy one of the first unit directly from cobb instead of buying a unit from Mazda Maniac and I regret it.

It's definately worth it, especialy when you get the support from Mazda Maniac.
My tuning is leaner so I get better milage and bettter performance at the same time, plus my car run cooler and I can clear CEL codes.

I have somthing more interesting (I don't like drag, it kill transmission, the rx8 have a really weak one)

I am planning going to Calabogie for a full day of lapping the 28th of august or the 15th of september. It's not cheap but it's awesome. I will let you take a look at their web page.
