I think the auto x stuff Derek54 was talking about is the pylon racing they do at the assinoboine downs (same place they set up the red rever ex).

and to hackdss: I don't drive mine in the winter so I wouldn't know but I'd imagine you'd have a bit of a tough time with any snow tires, our cars weren't really designed for the snow,

I do the auto x (pylons)
Apparently gimli is an amazing experience but i was told you need to take a training course before they let you ride in the solopro races (races at gimli)
the auto x is mainly at the red river ex grounds. They were talking about doing a test event at mcphillips street station casino. But I'm not sure if they're confirmed on that yet.

Michelin.
I'd either go with that or the bridgestone blizzaks are amazing too.

If your CAT is shot, then it should be covered under Mazda's warranty. 8 year/ 80000 mile North American Warranty.

Separate warranty - the government makes the manufacturers maintain the whole emmissions system for a long time.

The block warranty is a Mazda thing.

hello fellow peggers I am in need of your help! some idiotc person slashed one of my tires this week while my car was sitting in the lot of a shop where my car is being fixed so I am in need of a 225/45/18 tire. If you happen to have one kickin around that you would like to donate or sell to me it would be of great help cause my car needs to be able to move for the shop to finish its work. even if you have one that i could borrow for like a month until i put my car away for the winter it would make things much easier. i know this seems a little desperate but my car has been in the shop for two and a half months now for all kinds of problems which include my car catching on fire, so i'm a little short on cash. I'll probabaly just but a new set over the winter but for now I just need something to get me through till snow hits. thanks again for any help.

That's the shitty part of having an RX-8, NO SPARE.

PM me. I have a couple OEM's in my basement that I kept as "emergency" tires when I bought a new set in the Spring.
