Also - is there an installation guide for a stock RX-8 anywhere?

 

Charles will send instructions on installation with the kit, though the process is pretty simple:
- Key in OFF position, battery removal is OPTIONAL
- Take out airbox / intake (MUCH easier if you have the Mazdaspeed intake) and disconnect MAF sensor, vacuum tubes, and any other connectors connected to the airbox
- Disconnect coil connectors, remove existing coils and plug wires (save plugs for later)
- Bend wire loom beside coil baseplate down to make room for the BHR coils
- Connect coil connectors to BHR coils
- Place spacers on baseplate bolts, then lower BHR coils onto baseplate, make sure nothing is pinched or might be otherwise damaged, replace nuts on baseplate bolts and snug but do not over-tighten
- Connect plug wires from back to front (T2 L2 T1 L1) and route wires down towards plugs (drivers side back and below coils)
- Replace coils if applicable (make sure you have iridium plugs that can handle the POWERof the BHR coils)
- Replace plug wires, be VERY careful you attach the correct wires to the correct plugs.

Going clockwise from top right plug, we have T2 L2 L1 T1 (trailing plugs on top, leading on bottom, 2 plugs on right, 1 plugs on left)

- Replace everything and enjoy.
