You will find the side vent get air out of the engine bay.

I don't think the engine cover does anything but cosmetic.

The best way to cool your brake is to get some light alloy wheel with thin spokes. My brakes never get over 300 degree after a session.

The radiator is too small for the engine heat production. It is sooner or later need to be changed.

Your talking trackside arn't you. Not street use Taka-san. Do those side vents only exhaust the engine bay? Look at the last link in the related links at the bottom an see what you think. Cheers.

there isn't a clear passage for engine bay air to leave the side vents. they are purely cosmetic and only vent the guard.

That drawings is for the FDs.... RX-7.

I have no links for that but I think I have seen a video from Japan that those vents connect the engine bay. I may well serve the oil cooler as well.
