I don't know how to combine Boyle's law and Avogardo's law anymore. I cannot answer your question.

But practically. Cold tyre reads lower pressure at the gauges. Lower pressure takes longer to heat up. The road tyres will have the best grip when it is slightly heated, but not overheated - for the exact temperature is different for different tyres. Does manufacturers give those details?

Try having a play with different pressures and see how it affects grip, etc.

has anyone tried nitrogen inflation? it supposed to keep the constant tyre pressure and better fuel economy for long distance trips. the normal air we pump from servos contains water (cant remember the percentage...)
have done it to one of my previous cars.... didnt keep it long enough to notice the difference.
the dealership i get my car serviced at has put it in all their cars for sale. i'm going to make the switch soon...my 8 is going BACK to the dealer. from what i have heard the nitrogen is overall better than compressed air. this site has some more info including FAQ's and such. getnitrogen.org

Hey but they don't get all the air out of the tyre when they fill with nitrogen.....so you don't get pure nitrogen.....my other half says it's a gimmik and I believe him. Any benefit will be minimal in normal daily driving even if you are zooming! What next tyre warmers.....LOL......air is fine for me
