Angry Tranmission Oil shocks!

So yea, decided to change my auto's trans oil. Went along to autobarn to get some Motul tranmission oil

Anyhow flicked the booklet and it said

Mazda RX8 Automatic 03-07 8.3 liters .

Well thats 2x 4 liters and 1x 1 liters. The 1 Liters were 64 aud... so yea... thats alot of OIL O.O

And another 2.1 liter for diff.

Needless to say, i didnt quite bring 500+ aud for me for tran & diff oil

But damn.... 8.3 liters.....

well, didnt want to.
But P Laws + permanently injured left knee (from competition basketball)
really gave me no choice.
Like normal driving is fine, but once i hit a traffic jam my knee would seize up, learnt it the hard way.
Happened to me as i was learning to drive (manuel) then realised i had the problem!

That's a real shame. Sorry to hear that.

Can you not improve the function of your knee at all?

Sounds like a flappy paddle shift car is your future...

well i dunno. Doctors said they have to open it up and reconstruct it.
But they are not sure, the long term effect of alot of strain on it constantly (clutch)
They highly recommended against it. Therefore i for 1 was not allowed to purchase a manuel car (parental and missus pressure)
Anyways the injury happened in a basketball game, high school competition.
A center guard (about 190cmish? and definately quite chubby) decided to push me as i went for a layup from behind. Landed on my left knee hard, then he followed through and fell aswell, his knee went into the back of my left knee. so yea, legiment damage and muscle tear. But it will need metal plates in it, but not quite yet.
Anyhow, i limp chased him around the court. and got suspended that was the end of my basketball days
