Top Gear: The Stig in the reasonably priced car

Celebs have been taken behind the wheel of the "old" reasonably priced car - Hyandai (oh ****: it is a Suzuki) Liana.

The best time was 1'46.7 by Ellen McArthur.
The best time for professional driver was Nigel Mansell: 1'44.6 *by cutting a lot of corner, some at least 5m into the corner. D Hill lapped in 1'46.3.

Let see what the Stig... can do

http://alwstudios.net/rx8club/taka/s...priced_car.avi (right click and save as ...) please.

Enjoy.

Sorry forgot to say that it is in DivX format.

So download the player bundle from the www.divx.com. The player bundle includes the codec and, when installed, the file can be seen in any of your favourite player.

Winning 8, I think you are the remaining 5% who does not have one in the computer. j/k mate

I am sure it takes a few laps to get this lap but hey the 2nd last corner is sooooooo clean that every racing driver would have to have it once in their hottest lap

doh Taka, how could you mistake Suzuki to Hyundai LoL

btw, they've now gotten rid of the old Suzuki and the new reasonably priced car is Chevrolet Lacetti. it's actually Korean car Daewoo Lacetti rebadge under GM's other subsidiary Chevrolet. hahaha
supposed to lap few seconds quicker now
i couldn't believe what they were doing to a new car on the new season's 1st episode.

Hadn't caught that before - thanks nuggsy.

Gets quite a glowing review doesn't it?

As for the body roll and tyre squeal - come to the Nats and you'll see both in abundance!

The new series has started over here... there's now a new reasonably priced car they use, some chevvy POS. The new series has been quite amusing, convertible people carriers and aquatic cars just about says it all. :D
