Lost my burble!

May be old news but just had my 30k service done and I've noticed that most of my Hymee assisted "pops" have disappeared. I musta been flashed??

Also had my mounts replaced, they rang me to let me know half way through the day that they thought they were a bit worn and were giong to change them as a precaution. A nice change in service, buggered if i can notice the vibration reduction but happy it's done

Also had the oil indicator checked out after my scary saturday episode. They couldn't find anything wrong or any faults logged. Let this be an extra prompt to check your oil level. This 8 uses alot more than my old one and I will have to be a lot more diligent and not expect the oil light to tell me when I'm being too slack!

I so wanna Hymee exhaust...love that pop crackle stuff......sad to hear that it's gone.....more homogenisation from the puter???

Interested.....did they show you or give you your old engine mounts?? 30,000kms seems like a little soon to change them though I could be wrong...

So your service with engine mounts etc...is better value than mine.....

Anyhow....it's a great car regardless

Diminished, not gone completely, am driving out to Orange for the long weekend, we'll see if we can bring it back.

Been a few with new mounts about the same mileage, luck of the draw i guess.

No doubt Gomez will have the good oil on this but I reckon the engine mount thing is a de facto recall for cars with the older mounts. At the very least I'm sure it's the subject of a service bulletin.

So those with '04 or '03 cars, if your service dept hasn't at least checked them, get it done next time you go in.

I've had them check out my engine mounts at my 50k 2.5yr service. They said its vibrating cause the intake is causing the idle to go funny...

That burble is RARE nowadays...
