I think its the whole learning to drive all over again. People learn to drive with one hand on a *** and one had on the wheel they get used to driving like that.
It bcomes second nature but mobile phones are different because it requires more brain power to use! I'm guilty of that offence!

While I think the general habbit of smoking while driving itself isnt an issue, its the part where something out of the norm' happens thats the issue, ie dropping your ciggi'.
anyway, the issue is with concentration and this is why I agree with the proposed(?) rule about P platers being resticted on the number of passengers.
Phew I was worried for a moment there!

I dont care what you people say, SMOKING IS JUST AS DANGEROUS
Number of times ive almost had a car ram into me cuz some stupid moron is lighting a cig
AND number of times ive had ash flick out of someones window and come onto my bonnet, wats worse i remember i had some ash came into my car (when i had the terios), came through my passenger window!! People flicking cigs out of their cars too.

never said it wasnt dangerous, just that the reason the law doesnt compare smoking to talking on a phone is because teh dangers are different. I dont believe there is a law against driving with one hand on the wheel and as such there is no way to police smoking while driving unless they specifically target it. And I honestly doubt they could do that, to hard. throwing cigarettes out the window is a different matter. Get their rego and call the EPA.
They use patterns to send warnings. Its not possible to charge someone, but letters from the EPA tend to make peeple think twice about a lot of things.
Also i got this off the CITR site http://www.thegeorgeinstitute.org/ii...B-3AE9D3904A7C

WTF? What's wrong with smoking and driving a manual? Did she have her bootlid up and was she applying lipstick at the same time?

Nothing wrong with driving manual with a ciggie.
However, driving manual with a ciggie and mascara in one hand and a mobile in the other, I tend to find concentration on the road gets 2nd or 3rd priority

doesnt the whip test include the brake line being whipped all over the place at a certain force over time and then checking to see if the braids have frayed?
I honestly doubt that endless would make dodgy products

I suppose the question is are all braided lines legal if they have the rubber sleave?

I dont think its matter of endless making something dodgey, course they wouldnt. just every country (or even state) have different standards.. what may be standard there.. may not be here. Its like the exhaust db.. dont think we have same restrictions as other countries!

But dont look in my backseats..
Yes i know i know, illegal to drive without shoes, its more illegal to drive with heels I think!!!
Do you get commission for pullin over chicks who use mascara while driving :P jk
