Hey guys

Since Zoomby's seems to have been quite busy for the last couple of months, I thought I'd succumb to the pressure of organising a Sydney cruise.

The current date in mind is either 2nd July or 9th July. Both dates are quite far away giving everyone time to plan stuff.

I, personally prefer 2nd July as the world cup semi finals are on on the 9th (5'ish AM) and I know a lot of us here (including myself) will be watching it so cruising straight _after_ might not be such a good idea.

Location, still unknown.

We will be doing a BBQ though, so the location has to suit.

I think I'm back on 2nd July from abroad for the Worldcup trip as I've discussed with you kunz.. would prefer maybe the week after 9th.. (since I don't want to miss the WC semi finals either :D ) but you are the organiser so if majority prefers a certain date, do please go ahead.

You mean my dictatorial, short notice "this is what I'm doing, take it or leave it and I don't care if you come or not" approach isn't acceptable?

I can do July 2, 9 or 16 at this stage. Might bring the family along for a change and allow the mini-terrorists loose.

Given the time of year a BBQ might be pushing it. Steak will be cold before you get more than three bites into it. What about we find a cafe or something at our eventual destination and make some kind of pre-booking once we've got an idea as to numbers?

 

Either of the dates is fine with me. I have to be out of the country for business on the 11th July (for 1.5 weeks) so I'd actually prefer the dates before it.

I can postpone the trip for a week though but thats the last resort.

 

It's all good, can make any of the above.
Destination? Brooklyn? Wisemans Ferry? Avoca?

Dave, Azza and I did the Pac Hwy a couple of weekends back, I'd be in again but I'm riding around on the spare....got right royally "screwed" in a rear tyre and it's a no repair!!!

Am sussing our wheel and tyre options so am a no goer, next time definitely.

We've got people over tomorrow so no can do either.

However, I'm gonna try and get to the AusRotary cruise on the 16th (see the thread I started).
