Customised RX-8 stolen in Sydney.
From Ausrotary.com:
This car was stolen in Sydney on Wednesday. The thieves broke into the owners house and stole the keys.....
stolen from: Glenmore Park between 12:30am - 4:40am on the 05/07/06.

A Penrith tow truck driver who knew the car and had seen the Ausrotary thread, recognised the car. (He had towed it before.....it had flooded, I guess!!)
He saw it on the side of the road this morning, and called the cops.
Undamaged....a happy ending!!

i wouldn't wan tto steal that 8. Haha, jus kidding, anyways, im glad that the 8 was found. Today, i read 2 theft threads. Dang, crime sucks. Why can't people respect other people's property! Man... So happy someone got their ride back. This doesn't happen often.

This theft should serve as a lesson to all of us. Keep our keys secure at all times. I have a habit of tossing them on the kitchen benchtop.....no more.

lucky for me, my sister is in the police, and my brother can't drive!
I've gotten into the habit of NEVER leaving things visible around the house or in the car, or in any obvious places. Guess it's my sneeky nature!
