Subaru marketing for you...

I was at the motor show last weekend and checking out the MY05 sti. I noticed it had semi-slicks on it. The only other car I've seen with semislicks is CSL. I might sound stupid but to confirm i decided to ask him if they were standard. He said they were and I informed him that I loved it but the 8 was so much more for me.
His reply was:

THIS CAR S!*^Ts all over the RX8.

Young bloke(*******), spiky dark hair. He's at the subaru stand.
Just in case if anyone here is offended and is keen on going to the Motor show anytime soon FOR WHATEVER PURPOSE.

Coincidentally, I noticed the Potenza semi-slicks on the Sti as well.
Since when were they standard?

Yeah, I noticed that as well. The sales guy said it was standard. The also went on to say that the 4WD set up meant good traction even in the wet.

I was not that convinced.

They're standard on the 05 model that just recently came out, they're Bridgestone RE070s... bloody expensive tyres and useless in the wet!

My mate's got a 04 STi, they came standard with, wait for it, RE040s... and he hated them just as much as I did.
