Nice to revisit that old thread - such discussions are getting rarer and rarer in here. 
I guess time will tell about the Kabura - what Labby says makes a lot of sense (i.e. MX5 replacement) given more recent concepts seem directed at possible RX7/8 models.
I love that Furai racer - the stance and detailing is awesome.
